General contractors are individuals (or groups) who execute large and small construction jobs and remodeling projects. They often do not do all of the work, typically bringing in subcontractors for specialty areas. A general contractor should provide expert advice, truthful data, references, and craftsmanship; ideally resulting in a quick return on your investment, and, of course, peace of mind.
